My love for fitness and nutrition was fuelled through the Crossfit Community in my 30's. My own personal experience with gut health issues and working with a nutrition coach and naturopathic doctor helped me understand the importance of nutrition and whole foods for overall health.
All of these experiences increased my confidence and lead me to a better understanding of how to listen to my body and the importance of fuelling my body to lose weight instead of starving it.
Over the last 10 years I have adapted to my gut health, weight loss and menopause challenges and through the balanced plate approach I am now am able to maintain my weight and live the lifestyle I want without crazy restrictions and tracking calories full time.
I work primarily with women over 40 to optimize their hormones and reset their metabolism and get off the ever ending yo-yo diet cycle. All this while eating the foods they love without crazy amounts of cardio. I promote a whole foods approach in support of better health and agriculture.
